A simplified "pump" operated quarter repeating mechanism incorporating a rotating governor and basic chronograph
recording full seconds only.
This watch came to me in pretty bad shape with damage to the case, hands and movement.
The case was repaired and repolished. The gold plated hands were repaired, replated & repolished. The movement
required extensive refinishing to all the steelwork and hairspring work.
The restored movement showed a surprisingly good initial timing trace, so I refined the timing with dynamic poising
and had the watch running within 10 seconds in all positions when it left the workshop (though considering the quality
of the movement, this timing level would probably start to slide pretty soon).
